PDF Print E-mail

NEW! Check out the Electronic Recycling Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing electronic waste through the reuse and recycling of unwanted computers, laptops and related electronic equipment.

Commonly referred to as ‘The Dump’, the municipal transfer site is a well-organized, smoothly run facility for disposal of your household or business refuse, and recycling.

Directions: proceed from Highway 22 towards the Elbow River.  Once over the river turn right at the 3-way stop, towards Wintergreen.  After approximately 1 km you will see a sign for the Transfer Site on the left.  Drive up to the top and you’re there.  Note that the dump has a one-way system, so once inside the gate turn immediate right.
