The Brushy Ridge Community Association will host a benefit evening of country dancing to the tunes of Matt Masters on March 9, 2013 at 7 pm at the Jumping Pound Community Hall. Proceeds from the dance and silent auction will go to the Rick Butler Leadership Fund. The Brushy Ridge Community Association, a group that Rick Butler was a member of, promotes social and recreational opportunities and welcome newcomers to the area south west of Cochrane. The Rick Butler Leadership Fund supports young people aged 18-30 years old to complete a project that benefits the community and builds their leadership skills. The fund provides up to $5,000 in financial assistance along with mentoring support to build upon youthful entrepreneurialism. We welcome contributions to the silent auction.
